Milkmen Off To A Good Start on Road Trip
The Milwaukee Milkmen embarked on a six game road trip in Texas, and came out on the good end of a 10-2 Victory in Grand Prairie. Starter Jordan Kraus provided seven (7) innings of four (4) hit baseball while his offense banged out eleven (11) hits.
Kraus struck out 8 AirHog batters while walking only 1 during his time on the mound. Derek Heffel and Jake Joyce worked the final two innings giving Kraus some well deserved rest. The temperature at game time was 95 degrees and 85% humidity.
The offense was led by Glen McClain, Dan Ward and Reilly Pittman, who all connected for home runs. The rest of the offense was led by Manuel Boscan (2 hits); McClain (3 hits); Adam Walker (2 hits) and Pittman and Ward with 2 each.
Pittman’s home run was his first as a professional.
Tonight Joey Wagman makes his debut with the Milkmen in a 7:05 contest.
