Big Sixth Inning for RedHawks, Milkmen Lose 8-0

It was a heavy pitching duel throughout much of the game with neither team truly able to gain offensive traction, holding the game at 0-0 until the sixth inning. The RedHawks put up six runs in the top of the sixth giving them a comfortable lead.
The Milkmen managed 5 hits. Center fielder, Derek Reddy extended his hitting streak to 9 games going 1-4 with a triple.
Milwaukee starting pitcher, Kurt Heyer, pitched a solid 5 2/3 innings, allowing 12 hits, 6 runs, 2 walks and 4 strikeouts.
